Getting a helmet that fits correctly

I have tried helmets by three companies: Bell, Razor, and Bern. My favorite by far is the Bern helmet, because it fits correctly, and it's really comfortable. My earlier helmets were too big. They wobbled on my head and did not feel comfortable.

Some helmet fitting guidelines:
  • Your helmet should comfortably touch your head all the way around.
  • Your helmet should be level on your head and snug enough to stay in place.
  • The "Y" of the side straps should meet just below your ear.
  • The chin strap should be snug under your chin so that your helmet pulls down when you open your mouth..
